When children feel big emotions but don't yet have the words to express them, art becomes their language. Through therapeutic art, they build confidence, resilience, and belief in themselves.

These are the moments that keep parents searching for help with emotional regulation, child confidence, and managing big feelings. You are not alone.
Small triggers lead to big meltdowns. The anger feels constant and exhausting.
They have stopped sharing how they feel. Getting through to them feels impossible.
Fear of failure stops them before they even try. Confidence feels out of reach.
Nothing is ever "good enough." They tear up their work before anyone can see it.
The voice in their head says "I'm stupid" or "I can't." It breaks your heart to hear it.
Nothing excites them anymore. The curiosity and joy you used to see has dimmed.
Through art therapy for kids, children reconnect with their emotions, their courage, and themselves in a safe, calm studio.
School pressure, social struggles, anxiety they cannot name. A gentle welcome and a blank canvas begin to dissolve the tension. No judgment. No rules about being "right."
What they cannot say in words, they express in colour and form. Therapeutic art gently surfaces feelings, releases tension, and builds awareness. Healing happens naturally.
Every finished canvas is proof: "I did this. I can do hard things." Mistakes become experiments. Fear becomes curiosity. Quiet confidence takes root and grows.
Gentle brushstrokes help children manage emotions, release tension, and find calm. Art becomes a safe outlet for feelings words cannot reach.
Mistakes become experiments. Every "oops" is reframed as discovery, building resilience and courage that extends far beyond the studio.
Every child is seen, heard, and guided with genuine empathy. Small class sizes ensure no one gets lost in the room.
Whether building emotional resilience, learning technique, or enjoying a creative art class for kids, there is a programme for every child.
Therapeutic art blended with growth coaching. Children release feelings, embrace challenges, and build quiet confidence that lasts.
Hands-on classes building fundamentals: drawing, colour theory, composition, and brushwork in a supportive, no-pressure environment.
Relaxed creative sessions for tote bags, figurines, candles, and more. Perfect for mindful fun with no commitment required.
Elfin Ng spent 13 years running an award-winning childcare centre before founding stART Studio. Two decades of working with children and parents taught her something profound: the sensitive children who struggle most are often the ones with the deepest potential.
stART Studio was born from a simple belief: every child deserves to feel safe enough to create, brave enough to try, and proud enough to keep going.
These are not just paintings. They are breakthroughs.

These are the moments parents tell us about over WhatsApp, at pickup, and at parent-teacher meetings.
Children start using art as their go-to way to decompress. Meltdowns become less frequent, less intense.
Painting gives them a vocabulary beyond words. They begin sharing what is on their mind, unprompted.
The "I can't do it" reflex fades. They start taking risks, in art and in life, because mistakes feel safe here.
Children who used to tear up their drawings start displaying them at home. Confidence becomes visible.
"Nicole is very attentive and encouraging. The small class size is perfect for my little one. I love how she engages with our child during lessons."
"My son was having a hard time in primary school, until I met Teacher Elfin. She helped Jonas realise his talents. Even his school teachers gave wonderful feedback about his change."
"I am an adult who has never painted before. The teachers introduced me to new techniques and the classes with pleasant classmates have been truly enjoyable."
No pressure, no tests. Just a warm, guided experience that shows you what is possible.
Your child settles into the studio and chooses a canvas subject they love.
A teacher walks them through each step, encouraging creativity and self-expression.
They finish a 20x30 cm canvas and take home a real masterpiece they created.
They leave with a finished canvas, a proud smile, and a spark you will notice all week.
Not at all. Most children who join us have never picked up a brush before. Our teachers guide every step, from mixing colours to completing the final brushstroke. The focus is on the experience and emotional journey, not technical perfection.
Many of our most confident students started with zero experience. That blank-canvas feeling is actually the perfect starting point for building courage.
Our Growth ART Coaching programme is designed for children aged 5 to 12. We also welcome teens and adults in our Skills-in-ART and Drop-In ART sessions.
We keep classes small (typically 4 to 6 children) so that every child gets individual attention. Your child will never feel lost or overlooked in our studio.
Traditional art classes focus on technique and output. At stART Studio, art is a therapeutic tool. Every session is designed to help children process emotions, build resilience, and develop a growth mindset through creative expression.
Our founder Elfin Ng brings over 20 years of experience in early childhood education and therapeutic art. Each lesson includes two programme units: one for skill-building, one for therapeutic reflection. You will also receive feedback on your child's emotional and creative progress.
The trial is a 1.5-hour guided painting session where your child creates a 20x30 cm canvas of their choice. All materials are provided. They take home the finished painting as a keepsake. There is no obligation to continue after the trial.
For families who sign up for a programme, Elfin offers a complimentary 15-minute Founder Insight Session: a 1-to-1 call where she shares a Growth Profile Observation highlighting your child's natural strengths, growth areas, and practical ways to communicate more effectively with your child as part of their developmental journey.
We are at #B1-06, Bukit Timah Plaza, 1 Jalan Anak Bukit, Singapore 588996. The studio is at basement level with easy access from the main entrance. Parking is available in the building.
We are open Tuesday to Friday from 12 pm to 6 pm, and Saturday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. We are closed on Mondays and public holidays. Message us on WhatsApp to check availability for your preferred day.
